The lives of thousands of residents have been wrecked by Thames Water.
Thames Water says any claims arising from the mid-July floods will not be met as it has not been negligent. That position needs to be tested in court.
It is only right that the Council stands behind residents and pays £20,000 or so for a top counsel’s opinion.
So, no excuses, Cllr Campbell. Show your mettle.
