As part of Silver Sunday, there will be an all-day free Art Breakfast event on Tuesday 8 October at the Royal Brompton Hospital in Sydney Street.
The arts play an important part in the hospital in supporting patients and the hospital. There will be creative talks and refreshments.
Starting at 10.00, artist Diana Tapping will lead a tour of her exhibition and present a talk on art. At 12.00 there will be a pinch pottery workshop led by local resident Penelope Bennett and at 12.30 there will be a short performance and demonstration by the Singing for Breathing Group – including one of its newest members!!
The event is free but guests are encouraged to bring a cup and plate to reduce waste.
The event and exhibition will be located on the ground floor reception of the Royal Brompton Hospital, Sydney Street.
