Christmas Markets Popping Up in Portobello

Special Christmas Markets will pop up along Portobello Road on Sunday 13 and Sunday 20 December from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm. Visitors will be able to shop for gifts, clothes, food, drink and more at the markets.

They will be held in partnership between Kensington and Chelsea Council, Portobello Green Market and the Westway Trust. 

As well as a range of goods, there will also be street food on offer, drink, including mulled wine and mince pies. It will be one of the few Christmas markets in the capital after many were cancelled earlier this year.

A range of covid-secure measures will be in place, including the road closure to traffic, allowing for greater space to socially distance. Market Stewards will be on hand to support. 

The main Portobello Market will be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout December.
